Winemaker Wednesday with Trust Cellars

 

Join us on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 5-8 pm as we feature the wines of Trust Cellars in Walla Walla, Washington. Steve Brooks from Walla Walla’s Trust Cellars will be joining us at the cafe to offer guests some tableside tastes of their boutique wines.
Trust is located near the airport and produces small batches of wine that has been well-received by the industry.
Steve, a former CNN journalist, traded his fast-paced life in Atlanta for a slower life in the Pacific Northwest. Come chat with him about his product, his process or about wine and life, in general.

 

 

 

Winemaker Wednesday

Join us on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 5-8 pm as we

feature the wines of Sulei Cellars in Walla Walla, Washington. Well known for their Roller Derby-inspired wines and labels, this small, independently-owned winery is also known for throwing out some beautifully hand-crafted and very tasty wines. They will be joining us with a selection of their wines and visiting tables offering tastes and insight to their product, their process and about wine, in general. As both the winemaker and her business partner are affiliated with the Walla Walla Sweets Rollergirls, they might be able to offer you some insight on the world of Roller Derby as well. And because it’s a Wednesday, when you order an entree, your table’s first bottle of feature wine will be only half the cafe’s retail cost.

 

 

 

 

Mother’s Day Brunch

Celebrate mother by joining us for a very special Sunday brunch. In addition to all of our traditional brunch menu items, we will be offering specials like Eggs Benedict made with house-smoked Canadian Bacon, Banana, Walnut & Nutella Crepes & Strawberry Waffles. Wednesday Wine Night Featuring the Wines of Chris Dowsett

As always, on the first Wednesday of the month, we host a winemaker or a winery representative during the dinner hour. On Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 5-8 pm, Chris Dowsett is bringing his hand-crafted Gewurtztraminer from the Dowsett Family Winery and wines from Walla Walla’s BUTY winery (where he is co-winemaker). He’ll visit your table offering tastes of those featured wines and to be available to discuss his product, his process and about wine, in general. Easter Sunday Brunch

Join us on Sunday, April 8th during our normal brunch hours (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.). We will be serving from our regular brunch menu on this day, but you can also expect some tasty specials. We expect Easter Sunday to be crazy busy and the best way to handle that is to run the cafe using reservations. Reservations are beneficial to everyone because we can limit the number of guests arriving within a timeframe. It improves customer service and food quality. Tasting Dinner Event
